Day 1️⃣1️⃣

There’s also rumors that April Fools’ Day was tied to the vernal (meaning fresh or new like Spring) equinox, when Mother Nature tricked people with changing, unpredictable weather. From what I gathered, historians believe that April Fools’ Day goes back to 1582.

Day 1️⃣2️⃣

Prior to the start date, I reiterated to myself not to feed into the vanity of appearances. This will easily separate you from the importance behind this project. You begin to like what you see. There’s improvement. I’m filled with gratitude how much it’s change me thus far.

Can’t tell you how excited my reaction was when I had that crunchy feel in my mouth with an added taste. I’m now buying bags of carrots/broccoli at the store. What used to take me a good 20-30min to fill my cart, now just 3-5min (depending on the queue at checkout).

Wish it were simpler—address the question, close the case and move to the next. I find myself struggling more trying to find relevant emails from the same client and piece it together, then actually answering the customers bloody inquiry.

With two weeks left, I researched the food calories I’m digesting. I’d like to track my consumption. So far this is what I have-

Apple = about 95 calories
Orange = about 70 calories
Baby Carrots = 4 calories (each)
Broccoli = 30 calories (1cup); 5 calories per floret

I’ve had similar scenarios where I knew how to do my duties since I have 10+ years of experience, however, there’s always something catching you off guard.

Day 1️⃣8️⃣

It was strange because the pain would come and go. Sometimes days are okay, others I’d have to limp. There were times when I would feel cartilage like floating around there. Dr. Murphy shared his thoughts and asked a few questions. His expression reflected as if he was familiar with this type of injury right away. Def knew I was in good hands.

Day 1️⃣9️⃣

Today I was able to make my 2pm appointment for a cleaning. Still need to have filling done and other little things, but I’ll hold off on those for now. After that, headed to the DEQ (department of environmental quality) to renew my registration. More money needed to spent I wasn’t counting on. But needed to get done.

Day 2️⃣0️⃣

I’m glad our mother and I are supporting her. We decided to hit up a local restaurant—Oswego Grill in Beaverton. We always go to Thirsty Lion due to the convenience being down the street and the food is good. Suitable and great atmosphere, you can’t go wrong. But this time I wanted to take them out elsewhere. We had a blast… well more so them than I. All I had was water.
