Day 1️⃣3️⃣

Seeing how my meals are never changing, I very much feel like I’ve been caged just as a prisoner in my own place. The flipside to that, is less cooking time, fewer trips to the grocery store, less use of the microwave and experimenting more with the oven. All I really do is add some flavor to my carrots and broccoli by charring em. Can’t tell you how excited my reaction was when I had that crunchy feel in my mouth with an added taste. I’m now buying bags of carrots/broccoli at the store. What used to take me a good 20-30min to fill my cart, now is just 3-5min (depending on the queue at checkout). I should experiment other veggies as well. Perhaps charr some zucchini, cucumbers, bell peppers or brussel sprouts.

A thought came to me earlier… Was thinking when I’m done with the fast, will I continue to eat the same? Will I add more flavors on top of the veggies? Do I keep going as I’m nearing my mid-forties? Or go back to my normal healthy eating days with a few splurging weekends of restaurant meals or late-night pizzas once in a while? I’ll get some blood work done next few days to see where I’m at. See what the doctor recommends for a stable and nutritious regimen he/she recommends.

Prayer-Father God, thank You that I can call You “Father”! I can know You by name, and call You by Your name. What an amazing gift that I don’t deserve. You never fail me, You always love me, and You give me hope for my future. Thank You! All glory, honor, and praise belong to You, Father! Amen.
