Day 2️⃣0️⃣

My mother has flown in from California 2 days ago to be with my sister as she underwent surgery for cometic stuff. Thankfully everything went well. She is recovering quite fast and that’s good for her. Just means less pain, uncomfortableness, and quickly getting back to her normal life. She had her fair share of procedures, so I’m guessing there won’t be one for a while. Overall, she is happy and feels good within herself. I’m glad our mother and I are supporting her. We decided to hit up a local restaurant—Oswego Grill in Beaverton. We always go to Thirsty Lion due to the convenience being down the street and the food is good. Suitable and great atmosphere, you can’t go wrong. But this time I wanted to take them out elsewhere. We had a blast… well more so them than I. All I had was water. They enjoyed fried calamari, sushi and a healthy salad. Mom had her favorite Pinot Gris and I could only relish my H2O. But the evening and conversation this afternoon was something of a great pastime. No rushing, quick to find a table, ambiance was great & not too crowded. My mom and sis mentioned they def noticed a change in me. In looks, character & mentality are the traits they commented on. My mom saw how I had less weight on my shoulders. My sis said I’m less frustrated or impatient. They could tell in my recent days I’ve not displayed any signs of being tired or annoyance—Basically a new person. I greatly thanked them from the bottom of my heart. Expressed it is mainly due to the fast and see how it can change people for the better. It feels like toxins have been released from my body and have more control over my decisions, actions, and speeches. What my mom said next, I really appreciated. She mentions that I’m a dedicated person. That nothing can sway me away when I put my mind to things. That I’m a very strong individual. It was a great time with all three of us.

Prayer-For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God.
