Day 2️⃣3️⃣

Today’s intake was solely 1 cup of veggies-raw carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. Body knows no other food other than that. My dear mom who I love and cherish her so much. She is a woman of strength, valor and never exhausts the amount of love for her children. She got me an air fryer so I can now cook my veggies quickly and char them the way I want them. I’m sure I’ll use it for baking salmon, chicken and/or steak after this week. Bless her heart. I’m grateful to be spending time with her this week. She also got me some amazing books cause she knows how much I enjoy reading. I have one more full day with her before she departs on Monday back to California. I won’t get to see her then, so I’ll make the most out of it. The plan is to go to Church in the morning, then stuff our faces (well not me), but with a family meal at one of our favorite restaurants. Believe they can probably do steam veggies so I’ll partake in the food. Not sure after that, but may grab a few last minute items from stores. Either way, I’m not sure when she will return. Perhaps if I end up having surgery on my knee, pretty sure she will get on the next flight to Oregon lol.

Today was the 2nd day I let my niece take my car out for a quick driving lesson. The first was basically around my parking lot complex. Let me tell ya… she is a quick learner and drove with amazing confidence. So today, we went out on the actual streets with other cars around. We didn’t go far, but more or less get that feel when others are nearby. She remained calm. There were a few teaching moments I went over with her. Believe more experience is what she lacked and how to get used to the pedals. Def proud of her and can see it in her eyes that she was picking this up quickly yet still enjoying the lesson.
